
The outer layer of the fire-retardant bag is made of tightly woven, specially treated, durable fiberglass cloth in a bag shape. The inside is filled with special fire-resistant, heat-insulating, and intumescent materials. The fire-retardant bag is non-combustible, with a fire resistance limit of up to 4 hours or more. At higher temperatures, it can expand and solidify, forming a heat-insulating and smoke-proof seal with good fire and water resistance. It does not contain asbestos or other toxic components. The main technical performance has reached the advanced level of similar foreign products. The fire-retardant bag can be effectively used for fire prevention and sealing in cable penetration holes in power plants, industrial and mining enterprises, high-rise buildings, petrochemicals, etc., especially suitable for occasions where cables need to be frequently replaced or added, or for temporary fire prevention measures in construction projects.
Application Range
Suitable for power, telecommunications, postal, chemical, industrial and mining enterprises, and construction. It is used to seal holes formed when cables, oil pipes, air ducts, gas pipes, metal pipes, and other penetrations pass through walls or partitions. It can prevent flame spread, especially suitable for important parts where cables are frequently replaced.
Construction Method
1. Before construction, clean the work surface to ensure that it is free of oil stains, dust, and other debris. Arrange the cables neatly in order.
2. Neatly place the fire-retardant bags around the cables in the penetration hole and seal the hole tightly. The sealing must be complete and leave no gaps.
3. For holes passing through floors or equipment, first fix a steel frame or steel mesh (must be coated with steel structure fire-retardant paint) at the bottom of the hole. The fire-retardant bag should be at least 24 cm thick. According to the site requirements, fireproof boards or other fireproof decorative materials can be added (it is forbidden to use wood or other combustible materials as supports or covers).
4. For the sealing of machine rooms, switchboards, and control cabinets, the entire space under the equipment floor should be sealed. The sealing area should be at least 24 cm larger than the perimeter of the equipment base. At cable bends or branch points under the floor, the sealing volume should be no less than 24 cm x 24 cm x 24 cm.
Packaging and Transportation
1. The fire-retardant bag is packaged in a plastic bag, then a fire-retardant cloth bag, and finally a box or woven bag. Store in a cool, dry place.
2. During transportation, it should be transported as ordinary safe solid materials, preventing rain and sun exposure.
