Product Introduction:
Intumescent fire-retardant coating for steel structures - 2.0 is an intumescent fire-retardant coating used for fire protection of steel structures. This product uses acrylic resin as a film-forming agent, with a fire-retardant system mainly composed of flame retardants, expanding agents, and carbonizing agents. It is produced using advanced fully enclosed automated technology and features a long fire resistance limit, high bonding strength, good decorative effect, and convenient construction. Application Areas:
Suitable for fire protection of various steel structures such as steel columns, steel beams, steel purlins, and steel trusses.
Main Characteristics:
This product has the advantages of good decorative effect, strong covering power, good bonding strength, and high fire resistance time of the coating thickness, and is favored by many owners and construction units.
Construction Method:
1. Before the construction of the fire-retardant coating, the dust, oil stains, debris, etc. on the surface of the steel structure should be cleaned, rust removal treatment should be performed, and an anti-rust primer should be applied. Ensure that it does not react chemically with the fire-retardant coating. After the anti-rust paint is thoroughly dry, the construction of the fire-retardant coating can be carried out.
2. Before use, stir thoroughly. If dilution is required, use the company's special thinner for dilution, and dilute according to the specified ratio.
- Construction Method: Use spraying, brushing, or rolling methods for multi-layer construction. The wet film thickness of each layer should be controlled within 3mm depending on the environmental conditions to avoid quality problems caused by excessively thick coatings. After the coating of the previous layer is dried and cured, proceed to the next layer. Depending on the environmental conditions, the interval is generally 6-8h, until the required thickness is reached.
Packaging and Storage:
Package and store according to national regulations. The storage environment should be dry, cool, and well-ventilated, avoiding high temperatures and keeping away from fire sources. The packaging container must remain sealed. The effective storage period is 12 months.
Packaging Specifications: 20kg
Precautions:
Outdoor construction should not be carried out when the substrate temperature is below 5℃.
Health and Safety:
Please pay attention to the warning signs on the packaging container. Use in a well-ventilated environment. Do not inhale paint mist and avoid skin contact. If paint splashes on the skin, immediately wash with a suitable cleaning agent, soap, and water. If it splashes into the eyes, rinse thoroughly with water and seek immediate medical attention.
