Product Introduction:

Refractory materials: Ammonium polyphosphate, melamine, pentaerythritol, chlorinated paraffin wax, refractory fibers, etc.; binder; acrylic emulsion, polyvinyl acetate emulsion; does not contain asbestos, formaldehyde, benzene and other volatile harmful substances. Magi indoor expandable steel structure fire-resistant coating - 2.5 according to GB14907-2002 "General technical conditions for fire-resistant coatings for steel structures" standard inspection, qualified physical and chemical properties, fire resistance limit up to 2.5h.

Application Areas:

Suitable for fire protection of various steel components, spherical reticulated shells and other load-bearing structures in building engineering.

Main Characteristics:

This coating has the advantages of strong adhesion, long durability, thin coating, high fire resistance limit, and easy construction. When the coating encounters fire, it expands rapidly, forming a thicker, sponge-like fire-retardant and heat-insulating layer, so that the steel structure is not easily bent or collapsed when encountering a fire, extending the fire resistance time of the steel structure to achieve fire prevention effect.

Construction Method:

1. Before the construction of the fire-resistant coating, the dust, oil stains, debris, etc. on the surface of the steel structure should be cleaned, rust removal treatment should be carried out, and anti-rust primer should be applied to ensure that it does not react chemically with the fire-resistant coating. After the anti-rust paint is completely dry, the construction of the fire-resistant coating can be carried out.

2. Before use, it should be fully stirred evenly. If dilution is required, use the company's special thinner for dilution, and dilute according to the specified ratio.

  • Construction Method: This coating is suitable for airless spray gun spraying construction. Stir the coating evenly. The thickness of the first coating should not exceed 2mm. After the coating is surface dry, apply the second coating. The coating thickness can be appropriately increased until the coating thickness reaches the corresponding thickness of the fire resistance time. One coat for 1h, two coats for 1.5h, two coats for 2h, two coats for 2.5h; when the coating feels thickened during construction, a proper amount of water can be added for dilution (not higher than 5% of the total amount of coating), and excessive addition is prohibited to avoid affecting the adhesion and fire performance of the coating;

Packaging and Storage:

Pack and store according to national regulations. The storage environment should be dry, cool, and well-ventilated, avoiding high temperatures and keeping away from fire sources. The packaging container must be kept sealed. The effective storage period is 6 months.

Precautions:

During construction and before the coating is dry and cured, the ambient temperature should be maintained at 5-45℃, and the relative humidity should not be greater than 85%. The air should be circulated. Construction should not be carried out when there is condensation on the surface of the components. During construction, the thickness of the coating should be measured at any time according to the fire resistance limit. The paint should be used up on the day it is opened. If it is not used up, it must be sealed properly before storage.
