Aliphatic polyurethane topcoat, also known as acrylic aliphatic polyurethane topcoat, is a two-component self-drying coating composed of aliphatic isocyanate components, acrylic resin, pigments, auxiliaries, and solvents as hydroxyl components. Aliphatic polyurethane topcoats are used for various steel structures, transportation vehicles, engineering machinery, instruments and equipment, and other objects with high surface requirements, especially suitable for outdoor use.

Performance Characteristics
High Weather Resistance: Polyurethane topcoats have high weather resistance; the coating does not powder after long-term exposure to ultraviolet radiation outdoors. This paint, used with other products, lasts 8-10 years and is a commonly used product for outdoor anti-corrosion coatings.
Chemical Resistance: This paint has excellent chemical resistance, acid and alkali resistance, acid rain resistance, salt spray resistance, and saltwater resistance. The film can resist atmospheric corrosion and effectively protect the substrate.
Strong Mechanical Properties: Polyurethane topcoats have strong mechanical properties, impact resistance, flexibility, and abrasion resistance that meet industry standards. They have excellent adhesion, the coating does not peel, and provides long-lasting protection.
Aesthetic Decoration: This paint comes in various colors and can be adjusted for gloss. The coating is full, and the coating is beautiful. The coating retains its color and gloss for long-term outdoor use without fading.

Construction Process
The metal surface to be coated must be thoroughly cleaned of oil, scale, rust, and old coatings. Shot blasting or sandblasting can be used to achieve a Swedish rust removal standard of Sa2.5 grade with a roughness of 30-70um. Manual rust removal can also be used to achieve a Swedish rust removal standard of St3 grade with a roughness of 30-70um.

Polyurethane topcoats can be used with a variety of coatings for various industrial environments:
1. Steel structure anti-corrosion: Epoxy zinc-rich primer + epoxy iron oxide intermediate coat + aliphatic polyurethane topcoat; epoxy primer + aliphatic polyurethane topcoat
2. Bridge anti-corrosion: Epoxy zinc-rich primer + epoxy iron oxide intermediate coat + aliphatic polyurethane topcoat; inorganic zinc-rich primer + epoxy sealant + epoxy iron oxide intermediate coat + aliphatic polyurethane topcoat
3. Engineering machinery coating: Epoxy primer + aliphatic polyurethane topcoat
4. Building exterior wall decoration: Epoxy sealing primer + epoxy intermediate coat + aliphatic polyurethane topcoat

Precautions
The curing agent and thinner for aliphatic polyurethane topcoats are dedicated to specific paints and should not be mixed with other types.
The mixed paint must be used within 4-6 hours to avoid solidification and inability to use.
Construction should not be carried out in strong winds, rain, or snow to avoid paint defects.
Construction personnel should take their own safety precautions, such as wearing masks and gloves.
Store the paint in a cool, ventilated place for 12 months.

Do not inhale paint mist and avoid skin contact.
If paint splashes on the skin, immediately wash with a suitable cleaning agent, soap, and water.
