Epoxy Coal Tar Anticorrosive Paint

Product Introduction:

A two-component coating composed of epoxy resin, asphalt, rust-proof pigments, and curing agent.

Application Areas:

Mainly used for the bottom-to-top anticorrosion coating of pipeline outer walls, underwater steel structures, and underwater concrete structures.

Main Characteristics:

The coating has excellent physical and chemical properties and anticorrosion performance, is easy to apply, has relatively low requirements for surface treatment, and has good compatibility.

Construction Methods:

1. Read the instructions before construction;
2. Before construction, the base iron surface must be treated to level 5. During construction, water, dust, and oil must be strictly prevented to ensure coating quality.
3. Before construction, mix the paint and curing agent according to the required ratio. Mix only the amount needed, stir well, and use within 5 hours;
4. Keep the construction area dry and clean, and avoid contact with water, acids, alcohols, alkalis, etc.; after mixing, the curing agent packaging bucket must be tightly sealed to prevent gelation;
5. During construction and drying, the relative humidity should not exceed 75%.
6. Construction methods: airless spraying, air spraying, roller coating, and brush coating.

Packaging and Storage:

Packaged and stored according to national regulations. The storage environment should be dry, cool, and well-ventilated, avoiding high temperatures and keeping away from fire sources. The packaging container must remain sealed. The effective storage period is 12 months.

Precautions:

When the substrate temperature is below 5℃ during outdoor construction, the curing reaction of the A/B components slows down or stops, and construction is not recommended.

Health and Safety:

Please pay attention to the warning signs on the packaging container. Use in a well-ventilated environment. Do not inhale paint mist and avoid skin contact. If paint splashes on the skin, immediately wash with a suitable cleaning agent, soap, and water. If paint splashes into the eyes, rinse thoroughly with water and seek immediate medical attention.
