Performance Characteristics:
1. High Weather Resistance: Acrylic polyurethane topcoats have high weather resistance. After long-term exposure to ultraviolet radiation outdoors, the coating does not powder. Excellent weather resistance, artificial aging resistance 1000h. This coating, used with other products, lasts 8-10 years and is a commonly used product for outdoor anticorrosion coatings.
2. Chemical Resistance: This coating has excellent chemical resistance, acid and alkali resistance, acid rain resistance, salt spray resistance, and saltwater resistance. It has excellent water resistance, oil resistance, and three-proof performance. The coating can resist atmospheric corrosion and effectively protect the substrate.
3. Strong Mechanical Properties: Acrylic polyurethane topcoats have strong mechanical properties, and their impact resistance, flexibility, and abrasion resistance meet industry standards. Excellent adhesion, the coating does not peel, providing long-lasting protection and good mechanical and physical properties.
4. Aesthetic Decoration: This coating comes in various colors and adjustable gloss. The coating is tough, has good fullness, high gloss, and a full coating appearance. It has good decorative and protective properties. Long-term outdoor use maintains color and gloss without fading.
Application Areas:
Used for the topcoat of large bridges' steel structures, port machinery, engineering machinery, containers, ships, gas holders, storage tanks, high-pressure spherical tanks, hydropower stations, substations, transmission towers, chimneys, aviation markers, etc., where long-term protection and decoration are required.
2. Surface Treatment Requirements: When coating metal surfaces, sandblasting or shot blasting is required to remove rust to meet national standard Sa2.5, keeping the surface dry, free of oil stains, dust, and other foreign objects, and coating within 4 hours.
3. Mixing Ratio: Weight ratio 4 (base material):1 (curing agent).
Construction Process:
Open the can and stir: Open the can, add the matching curing agent and stir, and adjust the viscosity using a special thinner.
4. Coating Method: Airless spraying, air spraying, and brushing are all possible.
5. Theoretical Coating Rate: Under the condition of a dry film thickness of 60~80 microns, 0.20~0.25 kg/square meter.
6. Thinner Usage: A special thinner can be added as needed, with a usage of 5~15%.
7. After the application of the last topcoat, it must be allowed to cure naturally for 7 days before use. If the ambient temperature is below 10℃,
this should be extended appropriately.
Matching System:
Acrylic polyurethane topcoats can be used with a variety of coatings for various industrial environments:
Primer: Epoxy zinc-rich primer, epoxy primer, epoxy micaceous iron oxide intermediate coat, acrylic polyurethane primer, etc.
1. Steel Structure Anticorrosion: Epoxy zinc-rich primer + epoxy micaceous iron oxide intermediate coat + acrylic polyurethane topcoat; epoxy primer + acrylic polyurethane topcoat
2. Bridge Anticorrosion: Epoxy zinc-rich primer + epoxy micaceous iron oxide intermediate coat + acrylic polyurethane topcoat; inorganic zinc-rich primer + epoxy sealing coat + epoxy micaceous iron oxide intermediate coat + acrylic polyurethane topcoat
3. Engineering Machinery Coating: Epoxy primer + acrylic polyurethane topcoat
4. Building Exterior Wall Decoration: Epoxy sealing primer + epoxy intermediate coat + acrylic polyurethane topcoat
Packaging Specifications:

Packaging and Storage
The storage environment should be dry, cool, and well-ventilated, avoiding high temperatures and keeping away from fire sources. The packaging container must be kept sealed. The shelf life is 12 months.
Precautions
The curing agent and thinner for acrylic polyurethane topcoats are dedicated and should not be mixed with other types.
2. Mixed paint must be used within 4-6 hours to prevent solidification and gelation. If the bucket cannot be used up at once after opening, the lid should be sealed immediately to prevent solvent evaporation and affect usage.
3. Construction is not suitable during heavy wind, rain, or snow to avoid paint defects.
4. Construction personnel need to take their own safety precautions, such as wearing masks and gloves.
5. Store paint in a cool, ventilated place for a shelf life of 12 months.
Health and Safety
Please pay attention to the warning signs on the packaging container. Use in a well-ventilated environment. Do not inhale paint mist and avoid skin contact. If paint splashes on the skin, immediately wash with a suitable cleaning agent, soap, and water. If it splashes into the eyes, rinse thoroughly with water and seek immediate medical attention.
